Adsense Tips

marleymauve's picture

I have been blogging for a few months and am loving how much fun it is, the sense of community among bloggers and how helpful everyone is.

I am real careful with adsense as it is a great money-making opportunity and I understand that it's really not difficult to alienate the Google Adsense people so I am careful about following the rules.

I often see banner ads or come across links offering people Adsense secrets in order to help them make money.

I read all kinds of promises about getting wealthy and earning loads of money every month from Google
Adsense accounts but it's a slippery slope because they are an intelligent organization looking for people who want to scam them and axing those individuals immediately.

I've read that the best thing to do is write good content and pepper your articles with your key words.
Use tags whenever you can and write about current events whenever possible.

Be careful about your keywords otherwise you can end up not getting the ads that you want on screen.

I once wrote about something related to debt management as I know a fair bit on the subject and also know that it can generate some high-paying keywords but used the word 'treadmill' a few too many times describing financial traps that don't get you anywhere and didn't see a single advertisement for debt consolidation loans on my blog but loads of fitness machine advertisements.
I have read advice from other people warning of the same problem with key words.
It's not a bad idea to look at your article after you've written it to see if you're getting the words and google ads that you want and maybe tweaking it a little.
Another thing to keep in mind if you're blogging on a shared adspace site is that 50% or better of your google ads may be netting someone else some profit.
For example, if you're beating yourself up about only earning $20 after three months of blogging, realize that if you're blogging on a shared site, you may have really earned a considerably higher amount depending on how many clicks occured when the site owners ads were on your pages.
Good luck!

Ms. Burpee, an award winning swimmer was disqualified by an Australian referee on a procedural technicality and felt she was not trated with unbiased judgement and contacted Kevin P. Simmons, a partner at Simmons, Jannace & Stagg to represent her in having the disqualification overturned.
Although Ms. Burpee showed being treated unfairly and certain paralympic protocol was not followed as demosntrated by the firm, the arbitrator did not overturn the decision.
Nancy Burpee has not let this decision alter her drive and ambition and she will compete in the World Championships in the upcoming year.

Find it in your Email or Ebay...

At least a couple of times a week, I will receive notice of a new traffic program that will help to increase visitors to your Adsense sites in that "visitors will come to your sites, see advertisements and click on those ads which are of interest to them"

If you read anything that closely relates to that, then you should run very far away because most of these type of sites are not in conjunction with Google TOS.

If you do a search on Ebay, you will also come across auctions where you can buy visitors or clicks. Keep in mind that suspicious click activity can/will get your Adsense account terminated. A rule of thumb is that it would be wise not to purchase clicks.
