This colourles,odourless and tasteles substance that we all take for granted is the source of life,health and wellbeing. It makes up abouut 60% of a young adult and 50% of elderly,s bodies. So I hope I have convinced you to take ypur full required daily amount of water which is--half of your body weight(lbs) in onces eg 140lbs , requires 70 onces of water/day.this is so because you lose about 3L/day through sweating, breathing and excretory functions and also loss depeds on weather conditions as well. We gain back some from the foods we eat since these too consist of a large percentage of water.
It is important to know that you should not depend on Thirst to decide to drink water since this is what is called a feed back mechanism when the body is running low then thirst is turned on.
So do yourself a favor Stay healthy, drink more water daily, well unless you were instucted by a physician not to.
