Achoo!

As I've mentioned before, my kids have pretty significant allergies. My son is allergic to 23 foods as well as most indoor and outdoor allergens.

We're just learning about the food allergies, and I haven't really explained everything to the boy. After all, he's not yet four, it's just too complicated.

He does know that he's allergic to wheat and that wheat is in a lot of things (come with me to the grocery store sometime - you'll understand why he knows that... I can't help but grumble when every faux meat product contains wheat gluten, it's crazy).

Recently, my son's darling baby sister crawled over to him and pulled up on his chair. He's not fond of her right now. She over rules him in the allergy department (if you can believe that) and therefore has had even more attention in terms of doctors visits and general anxiety.

Anyway, right when the baby got close, my son sneezed. He said, "HEY! I'm allergic to the baby! She must have wheat in her!"

LOL Brenna AWWWWWWWW!

Sassys

My own son suffers from allergies as well...he is basically allergic to pretty much every type of tree out there! It's murder for him in the Springtime and the Fall! My guess is your son just knows without a doubt he's allergic to his sis, he will grow out of the food allergies (hopefully)but my guess is he wont grow out of his allergy to his sister for quite some time:D!

allergies suck

I'm allergic to everything but the bayberry tree. Wish I knew that that was!

Great response, Sassys! I hope he DOES grow out of this allergy to sister soon!

Thanks!
