Absolutely Incapable.....

I am absolutely incapable of being on this damned computer for more than 5 minutes a day lately. The weather here in Portland (believe it or not!) has been fluctuating between 102 and 108 degrees this past week and our home office is on the top floor facing the sun....all day long. I honestly believe it to be a health hazard for me to even be in here typing this.

Next house we buy will have one story and A/C. I won't even consider anything else. So I am off.......I miss reading and writing on here....and will be back as soon as Mother Nature decides to turn off the furnace. Hoping you are all having better and cooler days!

You need to get a window AC.

You need to get a window AC. Really. They are pretty inexpensive, you can remove it once you don't need it anymore, and they are very easy to install. Put it in a room, and pretty much live out of that room until the temps change. Even if you've never done a family bed, your son will think it's like a party, and it will keep you all safe and comfortable.

window AC

we do have one for the bedrooms....but since they are the really heavy kind (looks like R2D2 and connected to the window with an exhaust hose....our windows open side to side...sucks), they stay only in the bedrooms....wish i could carry one of them around with me room to room! LOL! today is a bit better though, thank god. that kind of heat makes me feel like i am gonna turn into a homicidal maniac! lolol!
