You may already know, my son has a bilateral cleft lip and palate. He is 9, and has had (to date) 10 surgeries. These are a combination of major and minor surgeries, randing from ear tubes to full lip revision and nose revisions.
He still has a different shaped nose, and we are exploring have some further revisions done, such a rhinoplasty surgery. I've been doing some research on the internet, and came across this site, rhinoplasty San Jose, that offers some useful information.
In the past, we have had issues with the cartilage resuming it's old shape after the surgery. I'm not sure how this factors in to optional, cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery, if at all. I am hopeful we can have more successful results some day.
