A REAL Affiliate Program that can Make You BIG BUCKS!

Linkshare is a company that I have mentioned briefly in previous article about affiliate programs but I never actually did a write up on them.

So if you want to give this program a try I am going to share my secrets to success with you.

First you need a website so you can sign up for the programs. You’ll be able to apply for any affiliate program Linkshare offers, and they have at least a thousand to pick from. This is beneficial to you because YOU can make the affiliate match your sites content. For example, if your site is about clothing deals, you’ll be able to select 20 or more different clothing affiliates. This is key if you want to actually get sales generated from your site. Posting links to computer repair shops on a clothing site wouldn’t do you any good, you know. So make a quick site using Blogger.com. Post about 15 articles on it over the course of 4 weeks then sign up for Linkshare. I know, 4 weeks sounds like forever, especially if you need money NOW, but it will go by quicker than you think. Besides, it takes about 4 weeks for Google to index your site anyways.

Now that you have you site apply for the programs you like through Linkshare

This is what the banner will look like if you use the code they give you.

So, you can use this code to paste on your site and then leave it alone. The code is for a banner that people can click on if they’d like. OR you can dissect it by taking out the first part AFTER the a href= which will give you this:

Now this is your direct link! Just make sure you stop after the subid=0 part.

So you can now use this link in any way you want.

I, personally, love to do write up on product I already buy. Writing about affiliates that I invest my own money in allows me to give readers my honest opinion. Oh, and don’ hesitate to speak the truth! If you do order from 1-800-Pet-Meds and you think their prices are excellent but their shipping is slow, then say that! You’d be surprised how a little honestly goes a long way! People will actually still order from you because they will trust you for speaking the truth.

You can apply for as many Linkshare affiliates as you would like. I love the way that you can check your sales and get incredibly detailed, up-to-the-minute reports about each of your affiliate programs. This really eases my mind. I like to know how many people clicked on my links, how many links I have posted at that minute in time and exactly what day my pay is coming. You can actually pick from 15 different reports to run!

The cool thing about Linkshare is that they don’t actually pay you. Instead you work for the company itself. So if 1-800-Pet-Meds was your chosen affiliate you would get a check right from them. This is great, especially if you work for big name companies like Wal-Mart, Shop NBC or other reliable ones. You know your going to get paid, on time, with no hassle.

And sure enough your check is delivered right to your door, ready to cash! It’s as simple as that!

I have to admit, my all time favorite thing to do is check my Linkshare Account because you never know when you will get a sale or how much it will be for. Sometimes I won’t sell anything for a week then suddenly there$75 in my account! Other times it seems like I am making money daily – ALL BY DOING NOTHING! I just post the links and occasionally write a review or two.
