A Look At What Women Really Need From A President and Vice President

Oooooooo, there’s lots of buzz going on about McCain’s choice of Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate. The Republicans think she’s just the cure that Hillary’s disappointed supporters are looking for. Is she? Really? Let’s look a little closer.
While Palin is obviously an up-and-comer, intelligent, ambitious, with some pretty interesting views, she is the Vice Presidential candidate not the Presidential candidate. She will not be instituting policy, she will simply be working with McCain’s already clearly expressed policies.
In particular, Palin will be working with McCain’s clearly expressed economic policies, which are, in essence, George W. Bush’s policies. These are the same policies that have brought the average American’s finances into a state of ruin and the country is quickly following suit. These are the same policies that have brought about the greatest mortgage crisis in history, leading to thousands of foreclosures and leaving thousands more Americans at risk of foreclosure.
And let me point out very clearly and very sharply, thousands of those Americans at risk of foreclosure are single woman. The criminal lending practices that Bush’s Administration made possible have affected single woman drastically. Read this article for a real eye-opener on the crisis single American women are facing because of the mortgage melt-down.
Palin will also be working with McCain’s policy on women’s rights, again in particular, McCain’s view on abortion and birth control. And Palin agrees with McCain. Like McCain, Palin is pro-life and she will help McCain in his efforts to overturn Roe vs Wade.
Let me say that again, Palin and McCain will work together to overturn Roe vs Wade.
The Bush Administration is, at this very moment, working to deny poor women the right to birth control. Hillary Clinton is, at this very moment, fighting Bush tooth and nail on this issue. Sarah Palin will help to put more controls on birth control and abortion rights.
Is Sarah Palin the woman to win over Hillary Clinton’s supporters?
We’ll be learning a lot more about Sarah Palin in the days to come. But just these two little tidbits make me realize that we don’t have to worry too much about Sarah Palin helping McCain win over all that many of Hillary’s supporters. And the ones she does win over probably would not have voted for Obama, anyway. There’s just no satisfying some sore losers, you know.

Sarah Palin is just another "pundit" in vice presidential hooha garb.
It does tell us something though about how very intimidated the Republicans are right now...and Alaska? Hello...I would love to know what the Eskimo population thinks of this so called maverick. Wow just think of it this way "Two mavericks and one old ass administration running for the same old same old" The only TRUE maverick is Obama...you know the fellow that made history just last night? Yeah the truth will always out.
Well, I don't really know all that much about her, yet,
so I'm not going to completely discount her. She's obviously got something going for her.
However, you hit the nail on the head about the True Maverick - Obama!!! Yes, m'am!!!! And he is definitely intimidating the hell out of the Republicans. LOL!!! He's got McCain running so scared look who he picked as a running mate. I mean really, half the country is still having trouble getting their jaws back together after this little announcment.
And you can bet your bottom dollar PW
http://bloggerparty.com/blog/sassys
(the bottom dollar you can't afford for gas)that I will be watching the Republican convention because I do enjoy cartoons. I can't wait to see Mz. Palin debate with Joe Biden...that will be so much fun to watch...hell I might just have to come to Texas so we can share the laughs!!
Are you really?
I'm not sure I have the stomach for it. True, I'm not as old as John McCain, but I'm certainly not as young as I once was and I'm not sure my poor old stomach could handle all the crap that will be flung around that stage.
But I am definitely looking forward to the debates between Palin and Biden. I will really enjoy watching Biden mop up the floor with her. And, of course, I'm thinking the same thing about the debates between Obama and McCain. LOLOL!!!
You take care now PW...
so you are around to enjoy the future.

LOL! Hutts. I will definitely take care - at least to ensure
that I am around long enough to vote for Obama! LOL!!!
John McCain
John McCain is old old old....if the ole fart can't run the country then it will pass to Palin who has a whole lot less experience than Obama who, by the way, McCain says doesn't have the experience to run the country. Well, if Obama doesn't have the experience then what must he think of Palin....or does McCain think he is invincible and couldn't keel over with a heart attack. This is a dangerous ticket if for no other reason than McCain is old and he could be replaced with someone the wolves could devour.
Absolutely, Mz. Zola!
And that is one reason I am really pretty happy with McCain's choice. He no longer has that little talking point - Obama's inexperience - to run with. If he does, he runs the risk of his own supporters looking thrice at Ms. Palin. LOL! I LOVE it!!!!
MZ Zola and PW wait till
http://bloggerparty.com/blog/sassys
the debates come! Can you imagine what Joe Biden will do to this poor excuse of a scape goat will be like? I can't wait!!! Talk about blogging material!
As Bill Clinton said...
the other night in his speech - sixteen years ago he had as much experience as Obama and became a two term president.

Not only that Hutt but
http://bloggerparty.com/blog/sassys
Joe Biden already had more experience than Mz. Palin before she was born!
To be fair PW
http://bloggerparty.com/blog/sassys
I will watch it but seriously because it is always good to know what the enemy thinks...of course I am assuming that this particular enemy has the capacity to think...Hmmm...maybe I'll give it a pass? Nope I will stomach it for you!! That's how good a friend I am:) But you will owe me your house and all your money for the next ten years:D!
LOL!! Sassys, do I really look as dumb as Apocalypto?
Nope, no deal. Well, you can have the house but you have to take the mortgage along with it. As for the money, once I get out from under the mortgage and move in with you, I'll have enough to take care of both of us. LOLOLOL!!!
I think ...
... I look pretty SMART, actually.
Now APO we all know
http://bloggerparty.com/blog/sassys
that looks can be deceiving! Thanks for pointing that out.
Well, of course, you think you look smart, Apocalypto.
That's actually what's so pitiful about you. You really believe all the nonsense and lies that you repeat.
4 More Years of
4 More Years of Bushonomics and we will all be ruined.....well....except for Bush and friends....I get to drive 1/3 as much as when Clinton was President. 8 years ago...gas....was....only.....94 cents a gallon. From the day George Bush was sworn in, gas prices doubled and haven't stopped going up since. No wonder people can't affored to keep their homes much less pay for electricity.
And, Mz. Zola, 8 years ago the average American made
$2,000 more per year than they do today. The average household income has gone DOWN under the Bush administration. Can you imagine how far it will drop under a McCain administration? My god, we'll all be living under bridges with 4 more years of the same.
You people will have to vote...
Obama as your president.

I agree 100%, Hutts.
This country needs Obama and Biden!!
