A Little Trivia About Flowers

Here is a little trivia about a few summer flowers. I find this interesting:

1. Cala lillies are funnel-shaped, elegant flowers. Actually, they really aren't flowers at all. They are large horn-shaped extensions of the stem, called a spathe, which ranges from 6" to 9" in length.
2. Dendrobium orchids are delicate, six-petaled flowers. They are tropical flowers of summer.
3. Daisies represent hope, purity, and innocence.
4. Chrysanthemums are the Daisy's spiny-bloomed cousin. This airy flower with narrow petals comes in a much wider range of color than the classic daisy.

Those were just a few fun facts about a few summer flowers that are in bloom. Now if you are ready for a flower delivery that you can be satisfied with, visit dotflowers.com. They have a selection of gift baskets, floral arrangements and much more.
