The New York lottery prize is paid out at the rate of $50,000 per annum over 20 years, and the lucky man will just not have enough money for his treatment - it requires $125,000 up front and $250,000 in reserves.

With a wheezy laugh the 51 year old just commented, "If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all." Such is life! It reminds one of the old song that goes something like, " Water, water, every where, but not a drop to drink!"
