“What the f…?? Yo, homeboy. Either come down off the mushrooms or give me some. Now, OK, this hottie’s got more blog handles than Dubya has excuses, but “Leda� isn’t one of ‘em. Y’wanta tell me where you’re flyin’?�

“You mean you ain’t never heard the story of Leda and the Swan?�

“What the f… yourself. What did all those A’s stand for? JackAss? It’s one of the biggest stories out of the Greek myths!�

“Algebra. So I can tell you when you’ve blown your debit card account. We got enough trouble with the myths that came out of the Middle East. I don’t need the Greek ones too. But you’re going to lay it on me so get it over.�

“You do know who Zeus is?�

“Yeah?�

“And that he got it on with anyone he could? All female, I think. I could be that kind of god.�

“Not the way you got shot down last night.�

“In flames just like you, dude. So anyway, he spots this mortal chick he wants. This week. She’s married, of course, to the King of Sparta no less. But Zeus don’t care. He just turns himself into a swan and takes her. Knocks her up too. Two kids. So it wasn’t just once. Gods can do that I guess.�

“Twice anyway. Which is twice more than you.�

“Or you.�

“You suppose she knows?�

“Don’t look like it. You didn’t.�

“You gonna tell her?�

“Dude?!? I like my life.�

“You’re easy to please.�

“So I ain’t a swan. I’m a chicken. Deal with it, dude.�
