Remember when chat rooms USED to be filled with interesting people? Before the children invaded and turned it into a lot of foul words and AHHHHHHHHH's? Or bored people rambled on about their dates or lack of?

Blogging Communities are fun not just because we have the opportunity to write and spill our guts about the things that bother us or the things we have experienced, or our hobbies, concerns, or the things and people we love. But because they seem to draw intelligent people who are serious about their blogs. They reveal somehting unique and special about themselves that you never saw in chat rooms.

I have learned so much while perusing Writingup. It's fun to read what other people are interested in and it's fun to learn something new. My greatest fear is that the teenies will discover our sites and turn them into AHHHHHHHHH and ***** and other such nonsense. They pretend to be adults but still behave like children....oh how transparent they are.
