A boy commited a double homicide...

I was just reading an article about a boy who was charged with 2 counts of first degree murder--he killed his mother and his younger brother. In the article it said the bodies were found beaten and stabbed to death...This is so sad. I wonder what was going on in the little boy's head as he murdered with his hands his mother, the lady that birthed him and his younger brother. He wont be tried as an adult because he is only 12.
