A Blog's Success is in the Title

Whether bloggers write for fun or to make money, theylove watching the numbers of page views on our blogs rise.

I've been doing a lot of experimenting and learned a few things.

I posted a few blogs with simplistic titles, then I changed the titles to be very descriptive. I posted other blogs with negative titles and then changed the titles to positive titles.

Taking into account that different readers may be online at different times, and accounting for audience, online users, etc... I came up with a few observations.

Positive titles that are very descriptive receive more hits than negative titles.

Second, Titles that solve problems receive more hits than titles that just offer information.

Negative titles do not necessarily result in more hits - but negative titles that alert readers to possible problems are block busters.

Just my observations. I'll keep you posted.
