I have heaps of problems getting her to have a sleep during the day & she drives me mad some days because she gets crabby & cries because she is tired & yet she won't go to sleep. She will sleep in my arms but as soon as I put her down, she is wide awake again & ready to play.

I have tried a lot of different techniques that are suggested on baby websites & what my friends that have children have suggested but nothing seems to work. Mind you, most of the websites basically say the same thing which is to lay them in the cot with no eye contact to you & pat them on the back or bum to get them to sleep but my bub seems to think it's play time every time I lay her down when she's awake.

I am going to try & book in to what they call day stay at the child health center to get some help as a friend of mine says that helped with her son.

I am open to any suggestions that anyone may have. Please message me your ideas & I will try them all.

I will also keep you posted as to how we are going with it all.

Oh yeah, she is teething at the moment which won't be helping & it's just coming into summer & is hot too..so none of that will be helping either. The only good thing with her not sleping in the day is that she does tend to slep all night most nights
